Hi Josefin!

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

Ever since I can remember, I have been a shy and introverted person who feels secure in structure and regularity. However, I have always been very independent and already as an early teenager started helping out at my parents' former golf restaurant and thus entered the restaurant and service industry (where you constantly talk, serve and are surrounded by people, help!).
Fast forward a few years, I'm newly 22 years old and have just set off alone on the trip of a lifetime as a flight attendant in Dubai. In just over three years, I found new friends for life, my current partner and got to experience places that many people only dream of seeing. I got to bungee jump in New Zealand, swim with sharks in South Africa and walk along the Great Wall of China, you could say I became a bit of an adventurer.

Spring 2018 I decided to move home to Sweden, I got a job as check-in staff at Kastrup and hotel receptionist in Malmö and decided to start studying e-commerce at the same time - why only do one thing at a time?.
A few years later, I had just graduated and was ready for something new, that's when Reunion came into the picture and the rest is history.

What does a typical working day look like?

We usually start with a hot coffee and review yesterday's results, then we run a small summary of what needs to be done during the day and then it's full speed ahead.
No two days are the same, but generally I make sure that all our websites are updated with the current campaign, images and products. I also make sure that our Instagram, Facebook and our ads are kept up to date.
There is usually a fast pace and many new ideas bubbling in the office.

What do you like most about your job?

My colleagues! But also that my work is challenging and that I get to be creative and think outside the box in our projects.
It is important to constantly think one step further and come up with new ways to optimize everything we do.

How would you describe the company's culture and work environment?

It is a warm and familiar feeling with us and we work intensively together and help and support each other. There are usually quick turns with us and then you just have to keep up, we have a different way of working compared to many other companies.
But we probably also have a lot more fun than many other companies.
Something that is extremely grateful is the opportunity to have our dogs in the office, my little Kiwi has basically grown up here and thrives so well.

What are your interests outside of work?

I'm unfortunately not as adventurous anymore but I love to travel and explore new places. Since a year ago, my little Kiwi has been one of my biggest interests, it's so wonderful to go out to the woods, the beach or an open field and see him living his best life.
For relaxation, I like to snuggle up in a blanket on the couch with a good series or movie and I also like doing puzzles, it's like therapy for the soul.

What is your favorite food?

Tacos! But I also really like seafood and fish, moules frites, tapas, a really good burger, Indian paneer in tikka masala sauce, anything with mushrooms - preferably chanterelles, meatballs with side dishes, pasta in all its forms, etc., etc. I simply love food!

What is the most memorable thing you have experienced in life?

In the grand scheme of things, it must have been about 8 years ago when I got the chance to move to Dubai and work as a flight attendant and see the world. Once there, I got to experience so much that it is difficult to choose just one thing. But seeing the northern lights from above in the sky, cuddling with koalas, riding a horse on safari in Zimbabwe, looking at the view from the top of the Burj Khalifa, taking a little hike up Table Mountain in Cape Town are just some of the things I will take with me for life.

You can say that I have had the chance to do much of what is on many people's bucket lists and I am eternally grateful for that.
