WHAT IS YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE?

I wrap a big warm scarf around me. The fire is lit. The coffee is in front of me. I woke up with all the dogs still around me. Close close. Malte lay with his nose on my neck. As if Zoe had told him not to wake me. She was on my legs. Milo lay on the right arm, patiently just like Malte, and lay blinking..These amazing animals that know me. That warms me. Which is around me. Last night I had a mental cleansing. I sat and looked out into the darkness and thought about my beautiful life. I sat and tried to untie knots. I sat and thought about why February is so difficult for many people. A month that really takes the pulse of who we are at the core. Maybe it's just one month too much for us with cold, rain and darkness. Some lose themselves and become their worst selves. Others embrace trust, warmth and love.

My personal love language is to give me time and to show love through action, loving gestures..What is your love language? What is important to make you feel good?.I continue my Sunday in the calm tone. Cuddling with the dogs, finishing work with papers and orders. A few errands and a couple of February blustery walks with the dogs. It is time to calmly prepare life for a long-awaited operation tomorrow. I'm finally getting my left knee replaced. I've been limping around for almost four years after the fateful padel match that destroyed my entire knee. I have a large Reunion farm to look after and an even bigger company. There hasn't been a chance either with me or the healthcare system to fix this until now. Together with meticulous planning with doctors/team/my crew/my loved ones, I can do the operation now 🙏🏻♥️

I am terrified combined with relief to be mobile again. Family, loved ones and friends stand close to me and become my extended arms and legs. The dogs are my healing. Spring is on it's way. And my friends in Italy are cheering from a distance.. Eventually a Maria 3.0 will come out 💃🏻😅🙏🏻♥️. Lots of love, keep your fingers crossed. Hugs etc. ♥️
