I should have gone to bed on time. Still, I got stuck in a phone conversation that lasted into the night. An hour and a half is also sleep. I know. To sleep is to maintain one's health. But it was stupid to think that I should go to bed when I was still going to get up to drive to Kastrup just after 2 in the morning. I was charged to trudge straight into the flight chaos everyone is talking about. But I parked, had already checked in. No luggage. Security 10 minutes. He worked a little. We landed 5 minutes early in Pisa.

Absolutely ZERO chaos. . I felt fresh and excited for all the factory visits of the day when I trudged into the car rental office. Nobody there. Later! Later! Here! (fixed in italiano) The car rental guy stood at the cafe counter a little further away and waved. I'm just going to drink coffee! Then he continued his morning chat with his friend. You know you're in Italy when the coffee comes before everything else. Instead, I could stand and think that I had probably completely ruined another man's morning. I asked a man the way to the car rental shuttle bus. I don't usually land in Pisa (Florence is my hometown). The man STARED at me.

He was standing by his black shiny car in a black suit, grooming himself. His eyes popped out as he yelled at me: Do you think I look like a shuttle bus driver?!!! Do you think my car looks like a shuttle bus!!!? His arms spread in indignation. (Phew, I thought, language confusion at 8 in the morning...) NO, I said calmly, you're very nice and your car is very shiny. You look like a private driver. But I asked for the way to… he cut me off with a frown around his mouth, totally broke, I look like a bus driver!!!??? That's where my patience ran out, so I turned around and went towards the arrow that pointed both this way and that way as it always does in Italy... My factory visits were sooooo good. It's an art to keep motivation up at around 30 degrees and try on thick winter sweaters.

But a winter is coming. The first dresses in the Reunion soulsister collection aw22 will arrive next week. I just say oooo majj gaddd!.

There will be cold cherries for dinner up on my hill. Home again for a few days in my casa italiano ♥️
