In less than two weeks it will be the new year. The days are getting brighter and longer. We are on the right side spring 🌸🌸🌸🌸
The photo our dear friend @hellohazephoto took in October is so fun to think about. We all drove up to Falkenberg. With the cars full of clothes and cameras and doggies. There was a promised storm warning, you know..20/10... and a glimpse of sunshine had been promised between 10 and 12... we were going to shoot the summer collection...
The winds were already strong that morning. I didn't feel completely well and it was some plus degrees but the cold winds from the sea turned the plus degrees into minus. It's been a long time since I froze this much! Fingers, toes, thighs, everything ached from sudden frostbite. Everyone was extremely brave and here we show how important it is to surround yourself with lovely friends. We cheered each other on and jumped and bounced and ate lunch and styled and got in and out of clothes at breakneck speed because it was both freezing cold and the light was fading every minute and our talented photographer always shoots in natural light 🙏🏻♥️
What I didn't know was that a few hours later on the way home, the storm would snap a giant tree in my yard and bring it straight to the house. What I also didn't know was that I would be completely covered in fever in my bed with all the doggies as heating pads.
Happiness comes when you move. When you dare to take on challenges, when you meet new people you've never seen. When you're freezing and someone offers you a pair of mittens. When you trip and you suddenly feel an arm on your back. Happiness is there in moving forward.
