I call these days my Italian days. When I am in Italy a little longer I have days without time. The dogs control when we are going to rise. Coffee. Lose themselves in the view. The dogs that have run around have fallen asleep. That's exactly what is happening. The calm lies in the body. All of a sudden you have oceans of time. To do everything and nothing. You conjure up dinner by a piece of parmesan, some carrots, yesterday's pasta, a lemon, garlic and transform yesterday's dry foccacia into a garlic scented delicacy ringed with olive oil and black pepper and flake salt. Half a glass of cool white wine and a large tub lemon water. Cooking soup on a nail is easy when you are relaxed. Everything will be good.
