IN THE HEAT OF THE FIRE

More people than me who have been up and night walking in the house and tried to keep the roof? And the rain that whipped has torn my soul. Anxiety and discomfort and a restlessness that I don't normally have, have been plastered all over my exterior. A tight strange stick of the weather's powers against the tiny little human.

Milo my cuddle dog, my baby dog, got to go with Abbe and Saga to Malmö yesterday and play around a bit. I miss him. I miss all the dogs when the doglessness reminds me.

I have let the staff stay in Malmö today. And I open the Reunion farm as usual. Do you feel like you want a tasty shrimp sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, a blue cheese pie and one or two MARIA buns? Just come. The doors are open. I will cook and bake and take inventory. In the warmth of the fire and stove and in the safety of the nearly two hundred year old brick walls.
