After I had to leave my Italian life abruptly before the New Year to solve problems at home, I have been working every waking hour.
It's no mean feat and certainly not something I recommend.
But sometimes you have no choice. EVERYONE in my amazing team works like crazy but NO ONE gets to work more than 5 days a week.
That's our simple rule. Rest for two consecutive days. It works wonders. So now that I'm back in Italy I thought I'd give it a try.
Being completely free for two consecutive days. Will try Saturday and Sunday. Technology reaches me everywhere so it's harder than you might think.

I slipped in about two factories yesterday when I landed, so today I can take it easy in the morning.
They start with my sketches and sew up samples while I trudge around the olive groves with my musings.
On Wednesday I can go there again and try, measure and choose washes/colours.

I had to sleep without a dog alarm clock...a brand new ZOEtass.
I have bathed. Right now I'm sitting and listening to the morning work down in the olive grove.
My coffee has never tasted better. It's a bit cloudy but nice. Maybe 12-13 degrees.

There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the kitchen when I arrived last night.
I promised Marco (who helps me when I'm in Sweden) to remind me about st Valentine's day so he could woo his girl.
Then he remembered me too. What a nice surprise ♥️
I also got to enjoy a newly installed dishwasher.
Those of you who have houses far away know how wonderful it is to get help with completely ordinary things that feel completely impossible to fix yourself because of the language,
lack of contact, time, distance...it was a hallelujah moment that it was there, ready to take care of the evening dishes.

You know… thank you so much for all the great messages I got yesterday all day.
I am so deeply grateful for all of you and your warm hearts and wonderful thoughts and dreams.
We are a nice soul sister community. I am floored by your commitment and your love.
Let's keep dreaming together. Let's continue to make the dreams come true together.
Believe me. Everything goes. Sometimes it hurts on the road and sometimes you end up in deep dark holes.
But climb out of those damn holes and keep the dream alive sisters!!
