Dare to rest. Dare to say no. Dare to take a seat. To take a seat because it is vital. I have not taken place in my life. I have lived in relationships where I gave priority to the one who needed the place more. It hasn't been a big deal for me. I have found my invisible places within my world and out of love I have left the great space for my people who needed it better.
But before this Christmas weekend, even my invisible places within me ran out. The energy was gone. Imagination was over. Empty in the basket. The whole system needed a major reboot. End of discussion. I lovingly declined sweet invitations. Went shopping for food that I love. Forest walk with doggy. New crisp sheets. Lots of firewood. Heat. Rest. A giant pile of newspapers. Music. Clean house. Happy cuddly doggy. That could easily be enough there, right?
But then the movie started. Roll of my life. And two days later, without having left my house, I am now sitting and having to pinch my arm. What happened?? Actually?
